Our History

With a long history supplying fireplaces and stoves in Waterford, Steineberg Fireplaces has been serving customers across the South East of Ireland since 1974.

1974

John Power, the founder and owner of the company, started
to make wooden fireplaces in the shed at the back of his house

1978
We moved to 48 The Quay in Waterford City, our first real shop location.
1985
We moved to 5 Glastone street while keeping 48 The Quay as a our workshop
2003
Finally we moved to our current location at Coolgower, Tramore Road( opposite the halfway house).This location provided us with a much larger showroom, allowing us to provide a greater choice of products and services to our faithful customers.

We specialise in fireplaces in Waterford, offering a wide range of electric fires, gas fires and stoves to suit both modern and traditional homes. Our showroom on the Waterford to Tramore Road features a large collection of fireplaces and surrounds, allowing customers to see our products up close and choose the perfect style for their home.
